Should an art form born of defacement condemn it’s own? –

Is street art a holy relic or a continuous interaction between people and the people made environment? –

Will great street art naturally curb ugly graffiti. A lot of
communities are spending tens of thousands of dollars betting that it
will. But if recent attacks on one of the worlds founding fathers of
street art Keith Haring’s work in Australia is any indication, curing
ugly ignorant scribble may not be as easy as it seems. Today we learned;

Every week around Wednesday or so Street I Am gets curious and starts
looking for hot new busker videos that we have not seen before. We
especially look for videos released within the last week or so, Seems
like a lot of times when we do this, a theme emerges. Today we found
three balladeers. Two of them are original songwriters with new videos.
The other video is a timeless performance. It features busker Paul Grubb
singing a traditional style Scottish ballad that has to be heard.

The Naked Cowboy success story begins with a crazy image idea. A
funny stupid intriguing idea of a character called the Naked Cowboy.
Just for the fun of it mind you. What is the process of making this
foolish cartoon like character available faithfully to Times Square
visitors everyday? It is one part being real and one part having fun
with being the joke.


Coming up with a silly idea like that is the fun and easy part. But
how do you make it real and keep it real everyday. What does it take to
sustain it  often in the face of ridicule.

It suppose if you were going to guess which world famous busker would get an underwear deal it had to be Robert Burck known as The Naked Cowboy 
or Spandy Andy. Perhaps the fact that Madison Avenue is sort of in the
neighborhood of Times Square made him a personality the marketers of Fruit of the Loom
